The evaluation found that, overall, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ adapted well to the complex operational environment in the Niger: despite challenges linked to insecurity, access, funding and pipeline breaks after the 2023 change in government, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ maintained its operations and strategic positioning and remained relevant and effective, including through its support for the national social protection system. Stakeholders recognize ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ as a key partner in humanitarian response and resilience activities, although there are challenges in coordination and the management of field-level agreements.

The evaluation made six recommendations addressed to the country office: 

1. improve integration among country strategic plan activities;
2. improve the complementarities within partnerships;
3. enhance monitoring and evidence generation;
4. diversify and secure funding;
5. strengthen human resources management; and
6. optimize supply chain processes and management.
