AICRM is financed by US$143 million from the Green Climate Fund (GCF), led by IFAD, in collaboration with the Ðǿմ«Ã½ (Ðǿմ«Ã½), the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Africa Risk Capacity (ARC). The programme is being
implemented over a six?year period, starting in March 2024 with the aim of building resilience of smallholder farmers to climate-related shocks such as droughts and floods in Burkina Faso, Niger, Senegal, The Gambia, Mali, Mauritania and Chad.
